    Adware is any software application in which advertising is displayed while the program is running. The authors of these applications include additional code that delivers the ads, which can be viewed through pop-up windows or through a bar that appears on a computer screen and sometimes through text links or in integrated search results. Adware may or may not track personal information. It may also gather information anonymously or in aggregate only. Users should check the EULA and Privacy policy to ensure if the adware on their machines conforms to their standards.
    Official Description: ILookup is an IE toolbar providing a search box and link buttons. It also adds bookmarks to the Favorites menu (mostly affiliate links) and hijacks the homepage and Search sidebar.

    Recent additions include the "searchbus" variant and some others.
    Comment: Installed by ActiveX drive-by-download, thought to be used on pop-ups.

    Users have reported porn-pop ups, and the program has various porn-related URLs inside.

    Can cause error messages of the type "Explorer has caused an error in ineb.dll...", when using both Internet Explorer and the Windows Explorer.

    Open the 'Downloaded Program Files' folder in the Windows folder. Right-click the 'I-Lookup.com Toolbar' object (Ineb variant), or the 'GlobalWebSearch.com' object (Chgrgs variant). Click 'Remove'.
