Full Name:
Satans Back Door Websearch   Read More
Type: Trojan
Also Known as: Backdoor.Satan, Backdoor.SBD, Socken des Troja, Satanz Backdoor, SBD
SG Index: 7 [Explain]
Category Description: Trojans are malicious applications that pose themselves as legitimate software in order to trick users to install them. Once on the victim's machine, it may run any number of malicious process to steal vital information or inflict damage to other software.
Comment: This program is a trojan, designed to steal passwords. No pretences, that's what I made it for. When you connect to the trojan, a dialog box is popped up on the target system. It claims that an error has occurred, and to recover it requires the user's dialup username and password. The dialog looks *very* realistic. If the target looks in the End Task list, the server will show up as 'WINVMM32''
